We have introduced an event of the week article, highlighting something that is happening in or around Dorchester.

This week's event is Drinks in the Clink with DarkBear at Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum.

Join Lloyd from DarkBear on Friday, September 7 at 7pm for a stroll through Gin Lane, with a G&T in your hand you will navigate your way through the history of gin, tasting three gins from Cornish distiller Tarquin's, explore Shire Hall and round off the night with a Bridport Dagger cocktail.

Abbie King, director of Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum, said: "We're really looking forward to the first of our Drinks in the Clink events at Shire Hall this Friday, a gin masterclass with DarkBear.

"This event is a must for any gin lover. Not only will you get the opportunity to discover and enjoy different gins, but you'll be able to explore our historic Grade I listed building with a drink in hand."

It costs £30 per person and spaces can be booked here.
