Filming continues at Dorchester Prison which has been transformed into a set reportedly for a Netflix series.

It's understood that filming is underway for a sequel to Enola Holmes, a Netflix mystery film based on the first book of the fiction series of the same name by Nancy Springer.

The story follows the teenage sister of the already famous Sherlock Holmes, who travels to London to find her missing mother.

The first film features Stranger Things actor Millie Bobby Brown as Enola Holmes, Henry Cavill and Sherlock Holmes and Helena Bonham Carter.

Questions have been raised on whether residents and visitors will catch a glimpse of the famous cast.

Discover Dorchester shared photos of vans at the site, writing: "It's official - the movie makers are in town.

"Netflix are [sic] currently filming a new film at Dorchester prison - code name 'Street Dogs'.

"Our office is very close to the prison and we glued to our windows trying to see what is going on."

It's not yet known how long filming in Dorchester will take.
