Under the spotlight: Rajpoot
When searching for an Indian restaurant in Dorchester, Rajpoot is number one on Trip Advisor.
It has also received lots of glowing reviews, so we thought we would enjoy an evening meal there.
As always, start with papadums, which came with a selection of pickles, including a delicious onion pickle they make themselves.
I enjoyed the chargrilled meat and fish platter, which comes with tandoori halibut, king prawns, lamb, chicken tikka, crab cake and a lamb chop with a Peshwari naan.
The platter was very generous. The king prawns were very large and the tandoori flavour had a nice kick to it and was extremely flavourful, with the Peshwari naan complementing it perfectly with its sweet taste. We can absolutely see why it has got so many rave reviews.
As well as sit in meals, Rajpoot also offers takeaway. Visit rajpootrestaurant.com or follow Rajpoot on Facebook.
