The A35 eastbound between Bridport and Dorchester has reopened after it was closed following a mutli-vehicle crash.

Traffic was queuing in Bridport from the Esso roundabout and there was congestion in the town due to the crash near Askerswell.

Traffic diverted through Loders, Shipton Gorge and Askerswell, causing the villages to also be busy.

The road has now reopened.
