AFTER recent reports of theft and anti-social behaviour, police in Dorchester have made a special effort to protect allotments in the town.

On Friday evening (1 March) members of the Neighbourhood Policing Team were patrolling allotments in the town area.

A statement said: "This is due to recent reports of theft and ASB. The team will continue to monitor and patrol when on late turn."
