An unforgettable outdoor dining experience – join Wildfires in Dorchester this September
Celebrating the very best of Dorset produce, against the backdrop of Thomas Hardy country, Wildfires is an outdoor dinner party with a difference.
Now in its second season, Wildfires has released dates for its late summer event, over the weekend of September 23 and 24, taking place at The Landscape, just outside of Dorchester.
This unforgettable outdoor dining experience was founded by Flames & Feasts owner Lou Perry Warnes and Bellorama Events owner Olivia Bolesworth.
Set amongst oak trees and wildflowers, diners are seated at long tables in bell tents, whilst locally sourced produce is cooked on open flames for all to see.
Each season, Wildfires picks a new location showcasing Dorset's breathtaking beauty.
This September, the team has joined up with The Landscape, Dorchester, to offer a luxurious setting in nature. Guests can choose to stay over after dinner in one of The Landscape's beautiful rooms.
Co-Founder and head chef, Louise Perry Warnes, commented: "WIildfires is not just a supper, it is an adventurous night of wonder deep in nature, celebrating the abundance of seasonal and local produce that we have here in Dorset.
"All the food is cooked over a live fire for our guests to really immerse themselves in the meal - I love this element of spectating and talking through exactly where our ingredients have come from, showing how the meal is prepared from ember to eating.
"We love having groups of friends of families dining with us - bell tents filled with laughter and seeing our guests marvel at the environment around them is about as fulfilling as it gets.
"Our mission is to celebrate Dorset, and provide a truly exceptional experience in the outdoors."
Co-founder Olivia Bolesworth added: "We know that Dorset is really the hidden gem of the South West and Wildfires was created to showcase and celebrate this.
"We keep our locations hidden until the last moment, aiming to really astound our guests as they arrive at these beautiful settings.
"Our tents are adorned with candles, local wildflowers and herbs, a wood burning stove is provided in each tent for when it gets chilly at night and we actively encourage star-gazing in our ultra low light pollution locations."
As summer turns to autumn, the team at Wildfires will be researching rural locations with more shelter, still showcasing the rugged Dorset landscape and rich local produce after the harvest.
