Mapdance, one of the UK's most dynamic contemporary dance companies, is set to captivate audiences at The Bay Theatre at Weymouth College, on Tuesday 25^th February.

This exhilarating performance promises an evening of compelling choreography, breath-taking athleticism and emotional depth, appealing to both dedicated dance enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

Based in Chichester, mapdance is known for its innovative and diverse repertoire, featuring works by internationally-renowned and emerging contemporary choreographers.

Following a successful 2024 tour, which included The Bay Theatre, the company returns with an exciting new programme, commissioning fresh works by Rhiannon Faith, Ben Wright and Ceyda Tanc, alongside the re-staging of Luke Brown's 'Let Us Know You', originally created for mapdance 2023.

This year's repertoire blends dance theatre, intricate lyrical choreography, high-energy movement and moments of humor, ensuring a dynamic and engaging performance.

In addition to the evening performance, mapdance will be working with Weymouth College's Performing Arts students, offering exclusive workshops and a special 'curtain-raiser' performance created in collaboration with the company.
