Church hosts classical concert

MUSIC from a well-known classical composer will be performed in a dorchester Church next month.
St Peter's Church on High West Street is hosting its monthly free concert on Saturday, 15 March between 12.30pm and 1pm.
The performance will be of Vivaldi's Stabat Mater, sung by counter tenor Archie Chesson, a choral scholar. Archie will be accompanied by an ensemble of small instruments.
Admission to the performance is free, with all welcome to attend.
The concert is part of the Music at St Peter's Church series which looks to champion the Anglican choral tradition through community music-making.
Regular events are held at the church, which includes choral evensong, eucharist and concerts.
