The bunting has been unpacked, the paper crowns, union flag t-shirts and anything red, white and blue are ready to go.

So, whether you are in to Jubilee street parties or something more sedate, there will be plenty of cheer over the Jubilee weekend, from Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5.

And if you fancy something a bit more relaxed, then how about an afternoon at The Club House in West Bexington, where there'll be good food, music and plenty on cocktails flowing.

Taking place on the Sunday, music from ROZE and The Waffle House Band will start from 4pm, so you are welcome to come along from 3.30pm onwards, settle yourselves down, ready to enjoy the afternoon. If you would like to bring your own seat, or a blanket to sit on, please do - and there's no need to book.

The band will play a couple of sets throughout the afternoon. ROZE is a soul and jazz singer, whose inspirations derive from the musical marvels of Eva Cassidy, Jeff Buckley and Stevie Wonder.

The team at The Club House has created a party menu to tempt the tastebuds, with 'gourmet street food' from cockle popcorn to Dorset crab toastie and a hot roast beef Yorkshire, and for dessert, how about a good old traditional English trifle or peach melba?

Plus, there'll be the bar and plenty of fizz, including specially created Jubilee cocktails.

No outside food and drink to be consumed on the premises.
