The deadline for entries into the Dorchester and Poundbury Business Awards has been extended.

Businesses now have until 2pm on Monday, April 26 to get their entries in.

It's free and easy to do and businesses can enter as many categories as they like.

Nigel Reeve, of organisers Marketing West South West Ltd, said: "We've had a fantastic level of entries so far for the Dorchester and Poundbury Business Awards - 40 per cent higher than we thought.

"So, because of lockdown and lots of businesses not being open, we've decided to give everyone a chance and extended the date to Monday, April 26 at 2pm.

"The simple online form lets you enter yourself or nominate your favourite business."
