Dorchester Town boss Glenn Howes was left frustrated following defeat to Hayes and Yeading in the Southern Premier South.

Howes's side found themselves 3-0 down at The Avenue before a Olaf Koszela goal in the 84th minute - but it was too late to mount a comeback.

The defeat meant that Hayes and Yeading leapfrogged The Magpies.

Dorchester now face two away trips against Gosport Borough and Merthyr Town - two sides just below them in the table.

After the game, Glenn Howes said: "I've got an overall element of frustration in terms of how we started the game. We couldn't quite get to grips with Hayes system and by the time we did we are two nil down against a very good side. It is always going to be very difficult to come back from that. I take full responsibility for that. I set us up and we changed systems a couple of times in a period of 90 minutes. That's something I will reflect on.

"We continued to try and probe, not full throttle but we continue to ask some questions of Hayes. Not enough questions. It was all too intermittent in terms of how we had been playing previously. However, we still created two or three chances that we could've made more of."
