  • Burton Road will be closed Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 3.30pm until June 17 while Dorset Council carries out works
  • Openreach will be carrying out works on the A35 from the junction with the B3150 to the start of the dual carriageway

In 1816–17, the artist John Constable painted 'Weymouth Bay: Bowleaze Cove and Jordon Hill' while on his honeymoon. The painting is now in the National Gallery, London.
