Today will start mostly dry with sunny spells, but heavy showers will soon push in from the southwest for the rest of the day, although these will be interspersed by dry and brighter periods.

Tonight will see showers ease for a time with clearing skies. During the early hours, further showers will move in again, mainly towards dawn. Again, the showers locally heavy with thunder.
