One to put in the diary for cider fans as the annual festival returns to Borough Gardens this month.

Dorchester Cider Festival, a free family event hosted by Dorchester Round Table, is a celebration of the region's finest cider producers, food and musicians.

Festival-goers will get the opportunity to meet and be served by guest cider makers and sample numerous award-winning tipples, from delicate elderflower infusions to leg wobbling scrumpy and everything in-between, all in the town's relaxed Victorian park atmosphere.

There will also be soft drinks, beers and wines for non-cider drinkers who want to join the fun.

Dorchester Cider Festival will take place in Borough Gardens on Saturday, August 20th from 2pm.

All profits from the event will be distributed to local good causes by the Dorchester Round Table.
