Foodie fans are in for a treat as the Food Fair returns to Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens this September.

Organised in partnership with Dorset Food & Drink, the fair will celebrate the best Dorset produce with more than 30 producers from the county showcasing their products, including baked treats, cheeses, meat and charcuterie, beer, cider, gin and much more.

The Food Fair will take place on September 18 and 19 from 10am to 4pm each day.

Caz Richards, Dorset Food & Drink co-ordinator, said: "We hope the local community and staycationers will come and support this popular event and we look forward to seeing everybody.

"Shopping in the fresh air, catching up with friends and supporting local producers. It's a winning combination.

"Abbotsbury is a fantastic outdoor venue with plenty of room for social distancing.

"We are delighted to collaborate with the Abbotsbury gardens team and volunteers to get this popular food fair back on the menu for 2021. Roll on 2022."

Entry to the Food Fair costs £7 or adults and £5 for children, which also includes all-day access to the subtropical gardens.

Martin Alderman, general manager at Abbotsbury Tourism, said: "We are delighted that the Food Fair is returning to the gardens and to be working with Dorset Food & Drink again to celebrate the county's wonderful produce and producers.

"Visitors will be able to enjoy the Food Fair as well as visit he gardens in their autumn splendour for one all-inclusive price. If our previous Food Fairs are anything to go by, this will be a wonderful day out."

Tickets can be bought in advance online or on the gate. For more information, visit abbotsbury-tourism.co.uk
