Four fire crews, including Dorchester, were alerted to the smell of burning in a building at Brewery Square.

Dorchester, Bridport, Maiden Newton and Weymouth responded just before 8.20pm on Saturday (October 9).

A spokesman for Dorchester Fire Station said: "Once in attendance, crews did a thorough check of the building with the help of a thermal image camera and luckily this was found to be a false alarm."
