There's lots to do in Dorchester's Borough Gardens this month!

A range of free events are being held throughout August.

Residents and visitors can enjoy live music, food and drink market and a cider festival in the garden in the heart of Dorchester.

Here's what's taking place:

• Saturday, August 7 - Library Gets Lively for children at 10am
• Sunday, August 8 - soprano Laura Sharley from 2pm
• Saturday, August 14 - The Watkins & Swarbrick Band from 3pm
• Sunday, August 15 - Victory Day Civic Service from 11.30am
• Sunday, August 15 - Durnovaria Silver Band from 12noon
• Saturday, August 21 - Dorchester Round Table Cider Festival from 2pm
• Sunday, August 22 - Mr Velvet Voice Tony Lowe from 2pm
• Saturday, August 28 - Dorset Food and Drink pop-up market from 10am
• Saturday, August 28 - Nick Capaldi from 2pm
• Monday, August 29 - The Originals from 2pm
