Dorchester planning applications

A SERIES of home extensions are planned across Dorchester in the latest planning applications to Dorset Council.
They include – a two-storey side extension at 41 Ackerman Road, (application P/HOU/2026/02771) and 6 St Helens Road, (P/HOU/2026/02874) which proposes a flat roof extension and lean-to porch.
At 9 Farringdon Close, a single-storey extensions is proposed following the demolition of existing garages (P/HOU/2026/02873) while at 32 South Court Avenue, Dorchester, the owners are seeking approval for a rear extension extending six metres beyond the rear wall of the original dwelling, with a maximum height of three metres and eaves height of three metres (P/PALH/2026/03166.)
In Poundbury a single-storey rear extension is proposed at 10 Middlemarsh Street (P/HOU/2026/03350) while at 11 All Saints Road proposals include the replacement of uPVC windows to match the existing, a replacement bay window, new French doors to the rear elevation, the blocking up of an existing side door and window, and a small fixed-light pantry window (P/HOU/2026/03564).
