Dorchester planning in a spin

A NEW launderette for Dorchester has been agreed – the first for many years.
It will use a currently vacant shop unit at the Forum Centre, off Trinity Street, close to the town's Co-Op. (pictured, if required)
The operator had previously gained planning consent to use an empty unit in the Hardye Arcade, but that proposal fell through before work was started. Other Dorchester planning proposals agreed by Dorset Council include solar panels for the roof of the Middle School and the retention of an MoT test bay within an existing vehicle workshop at the Great Western Industrial estate.
