Dorchester Probus Club is looking to welcome new members to its ranks.

The club is part of the international Probus organisation and is made up of retired or semi-retired men, who meet on the second Thursday of each month for lunch at The Gamekeeper pub in Charminster, near Dorchester.

At many of the meetings, members welcome guest speakers and a wide range of topics are covered, including many different interests as well as local issues.

The club also runs a number of social events and, for most of these, partners and widows of previous members are invited.

The club is keen to welcome new members and and those interested should contact either Bill Lowes on [email protected] or Chris Hutton-Penman on [email protected] or call 01305 753611.

There is a joining fee of £25 and annual membership is currently £15, paid at the beginning of March.
