Living Spit's popular comic duo is returning to Dorchester Arts with their hilarious interpretation of the Christmas story.

After sitting in their underpants for too much of the last 18 months, Howard and Stu are strapping on their sandals and are ready once again to tackle the great Christmas story.

Artistic director Mark Tattersall said: "Time to suspend your disbelief and set off for Nazareth and Bethlehem in the company of Living Spit to enjoy the familiar Christmas story in a new way.

"If you are ready for some unholy fun, and can laugh at yourself and your preconceptions, this is the perfect pre-Christmas tonic."

A mix of silly songs, pitiful puppetry and biblical befuddlement, Living Spit's Nativity promises to be comic Christmassy crudeness not for the faint-hearted, the extremely religious or those aged under 14.

Living Spit will be performing at Dorchester Corn Exchange on Saturday, December 11 from 8pm.

Tickets cost £14 or £12 for members of Dorchester Arts, under 18s or those on low income and are available from Dorchester Arts box office on 01305 266926, from the Corn Exchange or at dorchesterarts.org.uk
