Have you had a look inside Dorchester's Roman Town House?
There's still an opportunity this summer to have a tour of the only example of a fully exposed Roman Town House in the country.
Find out more about the history of the site and the artefacts recovered and now on display at Dorset Museum, as well as seeing the special features of the house, including some of the original wall paint, mosaics and a preserved example of an underfloor heating system.
Tours start at Dorset Museum where trained guides will give a short presentation on the history of the site and recent excavation, and visitors will be able to see some artefacts in the People's Gallery, before the tour makes its way to the house.
Tours are available on Saturday, August 28 and Saturday, September 11 at 11am and 1pm. Tours last around one and a half hours and are not suitable for children aged under five.
