Dorchester: Victory Day Civic Service to commemorate anniversary of VE and VJ Day

A Victory Day Civic Service to commemorate the 76th anniversary of VE and VJ Day will be held in Dorchester's Borough Gardens on Sunday, August 15.

It will be held from 11.30am at the gardens' bandstand.

Visitors will be able to see a selection of Second World War vehicles in the gardens and following the service there will be a concert from the Durnovaria Silver Band.

The Keep Military Museum has also planned an afternoon of free events.
