Weldmar Hospicecare's Christmas Treecycle returns this year, raising vital funds for the charity.
This winter, Weldmar will once again be collecting and recycling real Christmas trees from across Dorset in early January 2022.
In return for a minimum suggested donation of £10, trees can be collected from home and business addresses between Saturday, January 8 and Monday, January 10.
Fiona Hansford, who co-ordinates the project for Weldmar, said: "We're so looking forward to helping the people of Dorset with their Christmas tree clear up again this year.
"Every tree collected means money raised for the end of life care we provide. It's been a challenging time for fundraising over the last 18 months, so this scheme is needed now more than ever."
The initiative is being supported by Trinity Street Christmas Trees, whose team will be making the collections in Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester, Blandford, Bridport, Sherborne, Shaftsbury and Gillingham.
Weldmar volunteers, including a team from Magna Housing, will help with collections in Beaminster.
Tamzin Hyde, of Trinity Street Christmas Trees, said: "As a Dorset-based family business, we're proud to be a part of the local community.
"We've always been pleased to partner with Weldmar Hospicecare whenever we can, and it's wonderful to be doing so again with Treecycle.
"Weldmar does such vital work and the Treecycle initiative helps raise thousands of pounds to help it continue to provide excellent end of life care to people in the local area, as well as support for their families, so it is something we are delighted to be involved with."
Bookings can be made for collection of your real Christmas tree at weld-hospice.org.uk or by calling 01305 261800.
