The town of Dorchester has banded together to spur on England in the Euros with a rousing sing-along video to football anthem 'Vindaloo'.
'Dorchester's Vindaloo' was the idea of headteacher at The Prince of Wales School, Mr Gary Spracklen.
Speaking about the video, Mr Spracklen said, "It's been brilliant to see the whole county town come together - the video features a number of local schools including Cerne Abbas First School, St. Osmund's Middle School, The Prince of Wales School and St Mary's Catholic First School. We've also got local independent shops like The Fridge (for that all important 'lump of Cheddar Cheese'), Wise Owl Toys and Bobs Cars involved as well as many happy and willing local residents.
"The end product is a heart-warming video brimming with energy, St George's flags and three lions spirit! It's the perfect light relief following a difficult 18 months for us all."
Asked about England's chances moving forward in the Euro 2020 competition, Mr Spracklen said, "Well, everyone I've met making this video thinks England will go all the way. Clearly, Dorchester firmly believes that football is coming home."
