Brewery Square in Dorchester is set to host a summer full of free musical performances by a range of tribute acts, kicking off on Saturday, July 22.

The line-up includes Elton John impersonator Martin Cox, whose one-man-bandAbsolutely Elton takes audiences through the biggest hits of Elton's 60-year discovery with melodic piano performances.

Queen tribute act, Flash, is also part of the line up. The quintet, known for authentically capturing the iconic band's unique energy and style, is set to perform a range of classic and lesser-known hits – from 'We Will Rock You' to 'A Dozen Red Roses For My Darling'.

Tara Bailey, centre manager at Brewery Square, commented: "This summer, visitors to Brewery Square are truly in for a treat with our fantastic line up of musical tribute acts. Guests can expect to be treated to visually stunning shows with brilliant musical talents bringing their iconic counterparts to life.

"Our line-up is sure to get people of all ages on their feet and dancing. We're expecting some vibrant outfits to accompany these incredible acts so can't wait to see our guests follow suit – glasses, glitter, and flares at the ready!"

Brewery Square is also set to welcome The Steel Band, offering a mix of traditional Caribbean music and more upbeat repertoire. Visitors can expect innovative steel pan arrangements of well-known songs from the likes of Bob Marley and UB40.

The full line up of tribute acts at Brewery Square includes:

  • Saturday 22nd July (12pm – 3pm) The Steel Band
