Every week we'll be shining the spotlight on one of the local businesses from Dorchster Nub News' business directory.

Supporting local, independent businesses is one of the core values of Nub News and we aim to promote the 'shop local' message.

This week we're focussing on Dorseteco, based in Winterborne Whitechurch, which attends Dorchester Market regularly selling a vast range of eco friendly goods for the home.

The business was founded in 2019 by Sarah Sherwin who attends markets and events across the county trying to encourage people to simply think about which products they use in their everyday lives and offering eco friendly alternatives to choose from.

Dorseteco eco stock kitchen, dental, cleaning and beauty products and Elephant Box lunch and snack boxes and Weaver Green blankets and bags made entirely out of recycled plastic bottles.

Sarah's inspiration for Dorseteco was to simply encourage other like-minded individuals to change their habits to more sustainable, eco friendly habits.

Sarah says: "I am no expert myself but I'm loving making these changes and constantly finding new ways to live a more sustainable life. I believe that together we will make a difference. Let us together change consumer trends for a better future.

"I have chosen a range of eco products of the highest quality which are either recycled, sustainable, compostable or biodegradable products. Lowering both my own and others impact on the planet."

Orders can be lodged online for free local delivery.
