DorchLive has returned, filling the town centre with music.

The first of eight special performances saw Nina Garcia open this year's line-up on July 16.

Every Saturday until September 3, a different artist will perform next to M&Co, opposite Napper's Mite in South Street/New Street. Performances run for around one and a half hours at 11am and 1pm.

Here's who's next to perform:

  • July 23 - Ed Hintze, piano and vocals ranging from ABBA to ZZ Top
  • July 30 - The Decadettes, singing you through the decades in style
  • August 6 - Emily jean, singing from the soul with some great soul favourites blended with more contemporary classics
  • August 13 - Dorian String Quartet and Hannah McFarlane, a selection of light classical and well-known melodies for string quartet and solo cello
  • August 20 - We are Wilson, guitar based vocal harmony duo playing classics from the 60s, 70s and 80s
  • August 27 - Stickleback Jack, hit songs from the 60s to present day covering a wide variety of genres in their own individual style
  • September 3 - In2TheBlue, singing guitar duo playing anthems and other favourites

The series of live music performances are funded by Dorchester BID.

A spokesman said: "We hope you enjoy the DorchLive 2022 line-up this year and it adds something extra to your visit to the town centre on Saturdays this summer."
