The Dorset Food and Arts Festival 2023 is back, and getting ready to showcase a bumper crop of local food, drink, art, craft, music and community talent in Poundbury.

Join in the fun on Saturday, August 5 from 10am to 3pm at the Great Field in Poundbury.

With more than 60 stalls around the festival field selling delicious food and drink, locally made products, crafts and art, there promises to be something for everyone!

Dorset Food & Arts Festival co-ordinator Caz Richards said: "We really hope the local community and staycationers will come and support this popular event and look forward to seeing everyone.

"Shopping and in the fresh air, catching up with friends and supporting local producers. It's a winning combination!"

Held on the Saturday closest to the late Queen Mother's birthday, linking to Poundbury's royal connections, the festival follows the pattern of previous years with free entry for all.

The event is being supported by the Duchy of Cornwall, and in 2018, the co-ordination was taken on by Dorset Food & Drink.

Caz said: "We shifted the festival location in 2021 to the Great Field in Poundbury to give us more space and to operate safely as we emerged from the pandemic. But look forward to reimagining the event for 2024 in partnership with the Duchy of Cornwall and local residents."

Soak up the festival vibes, grab a bite to eat and enjoy a tipple as you shop with local stallholders, producers, and makers - offering tasty food and drink, handmade gifts and beautiful art and crafts.

The icing on the cake is when you shop for gifts at events like this, you get to meet the people behind the scenes, who make, bake, brew, farm, grow, cook, milk, preserve, pickle, and serve you.

Head over to the Dorset Food & Arts Festival Facebook and Instagram pages for more details, including a full list of stallholders.
