A new app dedicated to Dorchester has already been downloaded more than 1,000 times.

Discover Dorchester was launched less than a month ago by Dorchester Business Improvement (DBID) in partnership with Dorchester Town Council and local company Key Digital.

It's hoped to be a hit with both visitors and residents, like a "TIC in your pocket".

The app has been designed and built in Dorchester and its purpose is to promote the town, its heritage, attractions and the town's businesses.
