Here are the recent Dorchester planning applications agreed by Dorset Council

A new sewage treatment facility has been agreed for the walled garden of Dewlish House.

The new pumped plant, next to the wall, will replace an old septic tank which discharges into the Devils Brook. It is claimed that it will produce a better standard of effluent which will be monitored by the Environment Agency.

Other planning applications in the Dorchester area, approved by Dorset Council include:

Clyffe Farm, Tincleton, extension of existing retail building, replacement porch, conversion of garage to form annexe accommodation;

Sarsen House, Winters Lane, Portesham, detached garage and studio outbuilding to replace existing garage, shed/boiler room and garden room;

10 Knighton Lane, Broadmayne, build detached bungalow;

Rose Hill Lodge, Streetway Lane, Cheselbourne, detached double garage, pitched roof rear single storey extension to existing footprint forming boot room/shower room, form pitched roof front single storey extension to replace conservatory, enlarge windows & internal changes;

3 Weatherbury Place, High Street, Puddletown, install summerhouse;

Venery Lodge Kennels, Clift Lane, Toller Porcorum, temporary dwelling and new kennel building with associated parking and landscaping (revised scheme);

Tolpuddle Manor, Main Road, Tolpuddle, Installation of package sewage treatment works.
