Dorchester Christmas Cracker returns on December 12

It's not long until the Dorchester Christmas Cracker event - but this year it will be a one-day event rather than an evening.

Taking place on Sunday, December 12 from 11am to 4pm, the day will feature street stalls, fancy dress parade, craft fair, live music, entertainment, food, gifts and more.

From 11am, there will be festive street stalls and Christmas craft fair in the Corn Exchange and Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum, with the Rock Choir performing outside Shire Hall.

From 12noon, the fancy dress parade will leave The Old Tea House in High West Street and make its way to St Peter's Church via Antelope Walk.

There will be more live music and entertainment from 12.30pm outside St Peter's Church and The Rock Choir will perform again outside the Shire Hall from 2pm.

There will also be Christmas themed crafts at Dorset Museum and a winter wedding fair and venue open day at Sunninghill Prep School from 11am to 3pm.
