An interactive map is showing the percentage of people who have had their booster vaccine in Bridport.

The map on gov.uk allows people to find out what percentage of residents aged 12 and over have received their first, second and third or booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

In Dorchester West and Poundbury, up until and including December 28, 89 per cent of residents have had their first vaccine, 84.1 per cent have had their second vaccine and 65 per cent have had their booster or third vaccine.

It was a bit higher in Dorchester East, with 91 per cent of residents having their first dose, 85.7 per cent have had their second dose and 68.1 per cent have had their booster or third dose.

In the surrounding Charlton Down, Cerne Abbas and Puddletown area, 91.5 per cent have had their first coronavirus vaccine, 86.6 per cent have had their second dose and 68.6 have had their booster or third jab.

In Owermoigne, Broadmayne and Winterbourne area, 91.1 per cent have received their first dose, 86.7 per cent have had their second dose and 69.2 have had their booster or third dose.

In Dorset as a whole, 89 per cent of residents aged 12 and over have had their first dose, 83.8 have had their second dose and 67.8 have had their booster or third dose.

The percentage is calculated by dividing the total number of people who have received a vaccination by the population and multiplying by 100.
