Internationally-renowned vocal ensemble, The Gesualdo Six, will be giving a concert in St Peter's Church, Dorchester on Friday 6th September at 7pm.

The award-winning British vocal ensemble, praised for their imaginative programming and impeccable blend, comprises some of the UK's finest consort singers and is directed by Owain Park.

The ensemble formed in 2014 for a performance of Gesualdo's Tenebrae Responsories in Cambridge and has gone on to perform at numerous major festivals across the UK, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand.

A spokesperson for St Peter's Church said: "We offer a packed musical programme throughout the year, and are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming The Gesualdo Six as part of that.'

The group will be presenting a programme derived from their extensive and varied repertoire, and the performance will run as a continuous 75 minute programme with no interval.
