The catering services department at Dorset County Hospital is looking for a catering assistant to help in the service of staff and visitors within its retail operations.

The role includes basic food preparation, customer service, use of tills and catering equipment and an element of cleaning duties and dishwashing.

The Prince of Wales School is looking for an efficient, part-time clerk to governors.

The role includes preparing agendas and papers and taking and producing accurate minutes, maintaining and updating records and policies, communicating effectively to all governors, working with appropriate confidentiality and more.

Waiter/waitress

The Pantry Café is looking for a part-time waiter/waitress to join the team.

The applicant needs to be over 18 and reasonably fit as the café kitchen is on a different floor to the service area. The role includes waiting tables, clearing tables, making coffee, washing up, customers service and more.

Assistant ranger

A seasonal assistant ranger is needed to join the team at Hardy's Birthplace Visitor Centre and Thorncombe Woods.

The role focuses around staffing the front desk, engaging with visitors, updating social media and taking responsibility of the local nature reserve during busy times through visitor engagement and site maintenance.

The Prince of Wales Surgery is looking for an enthusiastic person to join the reception team.

Experience of general practice would be an advantage but the right attitude to customer service environments is essential. Training on the specifics of the reception role in general practice will be given.
