FiFi La Mer and Oliver Wilby return to Dorset this month

Experience an exciting and uplifting insight into 100 years of French music, as FiFi La Mer and Oliver Wilby return to the Artsreach rural touring circuit in Dorset this month, following their debut tour of the county last spring.

Fifi la Mer was born in Paris and, when not touring with this popular show, performs with her band 'Oh la la!', who have played to sell out venues including The Elgar room at the Royal Albert Hall and the flower hall at Covent Garden Royal Opera House.

Jazz musician Oliver Wilby regularly tours with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra and the Ray Gelato Giants amongst others.

This acclaimed show features the dulcet tones of chanteuse Fifi on accordion, and the talents of Oliver on clarinet, members of the saxophone family and accordion.

Together the pair will take audiences on a journey through 100 years of French music, from Offenbach and Gainsbourg to Michel Legrand and Edith Piaf, sharing tales of the mystery, romance and heartache that we so often associate with Paris, alongside a repertoire of musical gems.

Expect a toe-tapping tribute to French music from this entertaining duo.

They will be visiting Powerstock Hut, near Bridport, on Saturday, March 11 at 7.30pm and Piddletrenthide Memorial Hall, near Dorchester, on. Sunday, March 12 at 3pm, as well as Cranborne Cecil Memorial Hall in Wimborne on Friday, March 10.

For tickets at Poowerstock call 01308 485730 for for Piddletrenthide call 07786 880 676, or book online at www.artsreach.co.uk
