A Dorchester restaurant is offering free kid's meals this summer.

Luciano's in Brewery Square is enabling parents who want a meal out with the kids to do so without worrying about the price.

As food and energy bills rise and the school summer holodays being a time of year whwn household budgets are squeezed further and parents look to keep their children fed and entertained, having a free meal while going out helps both ways.

Owned by Luciano Pierre White, son of the famed chef and restauranteur Marco Pierre White, the restaurant's ethos is about serving hearty cuisine that combines fresh local produce with Italian suppliers.

Charlie Byass, the restaurant's head chef, said: "For mums and dads, the chance to let someone else do the cooking as well as the clearing and washing up will be quite appealing while kids just love being taken out for a 'grown up' meal.

"With the cost of living hitting the headlines daily, the opportunity to pop out for a meal with your family where the kid's meal is free, is a great way to create wonderful memories.

"And constantly finding things to do and entertain the kids throughout the holidays can be quite expensive exercise, which is why we've put this offer in place.

"For Luciano, it's important that eating out is affordable and this offer will allow families to go out where good quality food is an experience that is shared and enjoyed by loved ones.

"Italian food is perfect for kids, so parents won't have to worry about there not being anything that they like. Whether it's pasts, handmade pizza or ice cream, we're expecting to see a lot of happy faces during the holidays."

The offer applies to a free main meal off the children's menu with every paying adult main off the a la carte menu. Quote code SUMMER22 on arrival.
