A lane closure is in place on the A37 between Monkeys Jump roundabout and Weir's roundabout today (Thursday).

Dorset Council is cutting self-seeded trees from verges, maintaining them for wildflowers.

A spokesman said: "The chippings will be used as weed suppressant and to create hibernacula for reptiles and amphibians."
