Loki helped sniff out evidence that led to arrest of two men

A POLICE sniffer dog helped out in an incident in Dorchester that led to the arrest of two men on suspicion of possession of drugs and for being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

On Friday (19 January) Neighbourhood Officers on patrol in the town detained two occupants of a vehicle which was located in suspicious circumstances.

Both males were detained for a drugs search and subsquently arrested after a quanity of suspected Class A drugs were located.

The driver was also dealt with for driving offences and further arrested for failing to appear at Court.

The vehicle was later seized due to the driver having no licence or insurance.

A statement from the local police steam said: "Many thanks to Police Dog Loki and our colleugues from patrol who assisted."
