A MAN is due to appear ion court after bring arrested for being drunk and disorderly in Dorchester town centre.

The incident happened on Friday (17 May) morning when compliants were made about the man's behaviour.

After being located by police, the man 'continued to cause a nuisance' which resulted in his arrest.

He was then charged and is due to appear in Magistrates' Court.

A statement by police said: "This morning police received a report of an intoxicated male within Dorchester Town Centre acting in a disorderly manner."
