All are welcome to enjoy free refreshments, meet new people and find out about events in the local area at monthly coffee mornings to be held in Poundbury this year.

Relate Dorset and South Wiltshire will be hosting the free coffee mornings on the first Friday of every month, starting on January 6, from 10am to 12noon at Inspirations at 2 Poundbury Business Centre (DT1 3WA).

You can get to know people in your local community, get warm and use free wifi, enjoy a free cup of coffee and find out about upcoming events and activities in the area.

Newly appointed editor of the Dorchester Nub News website, Francesca Evans, is inviting residents to meet her at this week's coffee morning on January 6, to share their local news stories and events, or to find out more about Nub News and how it could benefit your local club, charity, organisation or business.

Francesca hopes to make this a regular, monthly drop-in session for readers to share their own news and events.
