New 120-seat burger restaurant to open in Dorchester

A new burger restaurant will soon be opening in Dorchester creating a number of local jobs.

Hub Box will be making its Dorset debut when it opens in Brewery Square in early October.

The new restaurant will serve up gourmet burgers, hand-cut fries, cocktails, and craft beers - whilst championing seasonality and provenance.

Staple dishes at Dorchester Hub Box will include its award-winning Big Kahuna Burger, buttermilk-fried chicken Dirty Disco burger, and delicious hot dogs from Rare and Pasture; an artisan, organic charcuterie and smokery, plus a range of plant-based and meat-free alternatives.

The restaurant will have a coastal and surf theme whilst also giving a nod to the site's 19th-century architecture and heritage as a former brewery with indoor and outdoor dining spaces and a dedicated bar area. To showcase the talent within Dorset, the restaurant decor will also feature the work of local suppliers.
