A new vegan and vegetarian restaurant has opened its doors for the very first time at Dorchester's Brewery Square.

Vibes Café is serving a range of street-food inspired vegan and vegetarian dishes to takeaway or enjoy on its outdoor seating.

Among its menu choices is 'cheesy' jackfruit wedges, twisted shrimp and fried plantain. Customers can also choose between a range of filled bagels and homemade pizzas.

The café joins various other businesses which have opened recently at Brewery Square, including Italian restaurant Luccio's, health and wellbeing clinic F.I.T.T. CHIROPRACTIC, and skin and laser clinic The Highbrow Skin and Laser Clinic.

Charlotte Spracklen, centre manager at Brewery Square said: "We know how much visitors value our independent businesses, so we're thrilled to introduce Vibes Café as another exciting addition to our portfolio of eateries.

"All our independent businesses have seen a tremendous amount of support over the past year, and it's inspiring to see another business launch despite the challenges of Covid-19."
