Looking for a new career for the New Year? Weldmar Hospicecare is welcoming all to its recruitment open event on Saturday, January 28.

The event will be a chance to find out more about the range of roles across all areas of the charity including staff nurses, retail, care assistants, chefs, housekeepers and more. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions you have, and showcase the variety of benefits of being part of 'Team Weldmar'.

Catherine Gair, director of people services, is looking forward to promoting the opportunities available at Weldmar to potential applicants.

"There are more jobs and career paths at a hospice than you might think, and all staff across the organisation are important in allowing us to provide specialist end of life care to patients and support for their loved ones across Dorset," she said.

"We are proud to be a friendly and supportive organisation with strong values. Each employee and volunteer is valued for the contribution and the difference they make and in recognition, we are passionate about supporting our people with their professional development."

The Weldmar Hospicecare recruitment event will be held from 10am to 1pm at Trimar House on Cromwell Road in Weymouth on Saturday, January 28.

Free parking is available on site and refreshments will be provided.
