NINE FAMILY homes are being proposed on the site of a house for demolition off Dick O' Th' Banks Road at Crossways.
The planning application for Egdon House and its grounds is on the edge of an area which already has planning consent for 140 homes between Egdon House and Frome Valley Road.
The site is about 250 metres east of the existing Crossways boundary along the road to Dorchester.
