Planning approval has been granted for anew dog exercise area on a farm site near Dorchester.

The application for change of use at Lower Wrackleford Farm, Wrackleford, was submitted by Oliver Pope and included the creation of a small parking area and boundary fencing.

The football pitch-sized site is off the A37 Dorchester to Yeovil road with access to it via Sodern Lane, where two parking spaces will be created.

Mr Pope says the area is expected only to be used during daylight hours.
