A dog exercise area could be created at a farm near Dorchester.

An application to Dorset Council for change of use has been submitted by Oliver Pope for Lower Wrackleford Farm, Wrackleford, and includes the creation of a small parking area and new fencing.

The football-field sized site is off the A37 Dorchester to Yeovil road, with access to it via Sodern Lane, where two parking spaces will be created.

The area is expected only to be used during daylight hours.

The full planning application can be found on the Dorset Council planning website by searching reference number 2023/01985 and public comments are open until May 26.
