Despite it being only June, tickets are already on sale for Kingston Lacy's spectacular Christmas lights display.

Christmas at Kingston Lacy, the after-dark illuminated festive trail, will return to the historic National Trust mansion in Dorset from December 2 to 24.

The family friendly features curated illuminations, set to a soundtrack of much-loved season music.

Matthew Findlay, head of UK Trails for Sony Music/Raymond Gubbay Ltd, said: "We were thrilled with the fantastic response from visitors who enjoyed the trail last Christmas and our planning and preparation for 2022 is already underway. Look out for some new surprises this year."

Create new traditions and memories as you wander between trees interwoven with neon strings and decorated with giant baubles, count the larger than life 'Wicker Days', admire the majesty of the pea-lit tree and pause at the oversized crystals. Don't forget to glimpse the friendly Father Christmas along the way.

Independent street food vendors will bring a range of tasty treats. Complete your walk under the stars with a hot chocolate or enjoy toasting marshmallows and warm your hands.
