With just days to go until Christmas, we thought we'd get into the spirit and go and see some of the best Christmas lights in Dorset.
We visited Kingston Lacy, the National Trust's country mansion near Wimborne, for the opening of its magical Christmas after dark event, with its grounds being transformed into a winter wonderland.
Visitors follow an illuminated trail through the gardens and be in awe of the most beautiful lights, trees lit up in every colour, go through arches of twinkling lights, and spot glowing flowers.
There's something different but equally stunning at every turn and twist of the trail, creating an incredible display - definitely one of the best we've seen!
You can even finish the trial off with a sweet treat and warming cup of hot chocolate.
There are more than 250 lighting fixtures illuminating walkways, trees and buildings, with 70 fire cans lit each night in the fire garden, 600 white roses are glowing in the gardens and 60 spheres glow to music in the sphere field.
It took 10 people 150 working hours to create the winter wonderland.
The Christmas after dark event is brilliant for the whole family, accessible to all and returns on December 8 and runs until January 2.

Throughout December in the lead up the Christmas, the house will also be open, beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, garlands round the fireplaces and a dining room set for a Christmas feast. This year, for the first time, the library will also be open.
Children can take part in Percy the Park Keeper's winter wander trail. There will be tasks, activities and games to help give nature a helping hand - with a prize at the end. It will take place until January 3.
