A new market supporting local businesses is coming to Poundbury next month.

Find makers, artists, producers and more at The Poundbury Independent Market.

An organiser of the event said: "Do you love all things local, independent and handmade? Then come to The Poundbury Independent Market on Sunday, July 11.

"We're bringing together the best Dorset makers and producers, with stalls selling locally made crafts, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, art, food and much more.

"A chance to meet the makers and enjoy amazing Dorset produce, food and crafts while supporting small independents in your community.

"A great opportunity to visit Poundbury, with its lovely independent shops and cafes and free parking."

The market will be open from 10am to 4pm outside Bonjour Café on Babeny Walk and Hessary Street on Sunday, July 11.
